Most awarded insurer for the sixth consecutive year
The eight Excellence Awards and eight Outstanding Awards (see Table 1) recognised FWD’s continuous efforts in changing the way people feel about insurance across different dimensions, including customer-led products and services, digital innovation, full-funnel marketing campaigns and well-thought-out agent training programmes.

FWD’s medical insurance plans are well recognised for consecutive years
The judging panel was impressed by FWD’s array of life and health plans with comprehensive protection and awarded the company for its “Medical Care” plans for the sixth consecutive year. Since the launch of Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (“VHIS”) in 2019, FWD’s VHIS certified plans have gained momentum among the industry, notching up three straight wins in “Voluntary Health Insurance” award since this category was established, with this year’s win made by “vTheOne Medical Plan” (Certification Number: F00067) and “vBooster Medical Plan” (Certification Number: F00069).
To deliver fresh customer experiences and quality services, FWD offers unique rehabilitation support and care – FWD Care recovery plan, taking a holistic approach in closing the recovery service gap. These have led FWD to attain both “High Net Worth (Service)” and “Cross-Border Insurance Services” awards for the fifth and fourth year in a row, respectively. On the customer service front, FWD also stood out with comprehensive agent recruitment and training programmes, empowering the tied agents to provide professional and tailored advisory and insurance services to customers, which have led to the company’s wins of “Training Academy of the Year”, “Training and Development Achievement (Agency Force)” and “District achievement of the year (Agency Force)” awards. FWD was also granted the award of “Customer Engagement” for three years running with FWD MAX experiential lifestyle platform, which is testament to the brand’s dedication to empower customers to celebrate living.
Celebrating 10 years young with remarkable achievements in Hong Kong
As FWD reached its 10-year anniversary this year, the company’s achievements have been well recognised by customers and praised by the industry. Throughout the last decade, FWD has been the Top 11 life insurer by growth in new business case count and number of in-force policies in Hong Kong. For 2022, FWD ranked third2 and fourth2 in Hong Kong by new business first year premium and new business case count, respectively; the number of new business case on online and direct sales platforms ranked first3 among other insurers in the city.
