The event was organized by the Dumai City Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfotik) on Tuesday (December 23, 2025) at Jalan Brigjen HR Soebrantas, Dumai City.
Winning first place was a special joy for Shaqira, even though she had previously achieved similar achievements in various fashion shows in various categories. The 10-year-old is known for her active and consistent track record of winning in various fashion show competitions held in Dumai City.
Shaqira is the daughter of Miswanto and Rini Susanti. The woman who is currently studying at SD 03 YKPP Bukit Datuk, is in grade V. Not only is she talented in the world of modeling, Shaqira also has abilities in drawing and coloring, which have led her to win a number of achievements in various competitions.
In the 6-12 year old category of the Dufest 2025 fashion show, Shaqira dazzled in trendy casual attire. Her look captivated the audience and earned her a warm welcome, ultimately winning first place.
“I’m very happy and touched to win this competition, especially to win first place,” Shaqira said, her eyes sparkling when met by the media.
For her achievement, Shaqira received a certificate, a trophy, a sash, and a Rp 1,000,000 allowance. She hopes to continue developing her modeling talent while prioritizing her education to achieve her dreams.
She also wants to inspire other Indonesian children to continue achieving and persevering in pursuing their dreams, and expressed her gratitude to her family, the teachers who have trained her, her fashion designers, and everyone who has supported her. Shaqira is no stranger to the world of fashion shows. She has been actively participating in modeling since kindergarten and has earned numerous awards.
Previously, Shaqira had participated in a runway event in Malaysia at the Kids Model Mahardika International 2025 event and won the Grand Glam Model title.
Not only that, she also participated in the 2024 Indonesia Model Search (IMS) in Jakarta and won the Best Personality 2024 award.
“I often participate in fashion shows. She said the last time I competed was in December at Dufest 2025,” she explained.
