RRINEWSS.COM- ROKAN HILIR – The Rokan Hilir District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) (Rohil) has named the former Head of Pasir Limau Kapas (Palika) Subdistrict BI as a suspect in an alleged Corruption Crime (Tipikor) case in the financial management of Palika Subdistrict which came from the Rohil APBD and Financial Assistance funds (Bankeu) Riau Province APBD for Fiscal Year 2022.
This was stated by Kajari Rohil Andi Adikawira Putra SH MH through Kasi Intel Yopentinu Adi Nugraha SH MH accompanied by Kasi Pidsus Misael Asarya Tambunan when holding a press conference at Kejari Rohil’s office, Tuesday (23/7/2024) afternoon.
Yopentinu explained that the determination of the suspect was carried out by the Corruption Investigation Team at the Rokan Hilir District Prosecutor’s Office because it was assessed that since the initial process of carrying out the investigation and investigation the Team had found 2 sufficient pieces of evidence.
“So today the Head of the Rokan Hilir District Prosecutor’s Office officially issued a letter determining the suspect and we immediately detained him,” said Yopen. The Head of Intel explained that in 2022, suspect BI is suspected of having used budgets from the APBD worth IDR 2,876,158,995 and Riau Province Assistance Funds worth IDR 99,954,760, which was not appropriate.
“With the discovery of 12 fictitious activities and overpayments at the Pasir Limau Kapas District Office in the 2022 Fiscal Year, this resulted in a state financial loss of IDR 240,365,760 based on calculations from the Inspectorate,” he explained. Yopentinu added that the suspect was subject to Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 and Article 3 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended and supplemented by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999.
“To facilitate the investigation process based on Article 20 and Article 21 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Corruption Crime Investigation Team at the Rokan Hilir District Prosecutor’s Office will detain the suspect in Class II A Bagansiapiapi Prison for the next 20 days,” he concluded. ***talk about
